Whitman College Assistant Professor Position in Sociology

Sociology: Tenure-track position anticipated in Sociology, with expertise in the areas of Macro-Sociology, at the rank of Assistant Professor. Effective 2007-08. Ph.D. required.

The successful candidate will (a) offer courses specifically relating to Race and Ethnicity; and (b) teach other courses when necessitated by sabbatical leaves within the department. The Department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to Latino/Latina studies in the United States.
