Undergraduate Caucus Rep
Sade Neri is a UC Berkeley graduate from the department of Ethnic Studies where she completed her research, a transnational Honors Thesis on Intergenerational Understandings on Mexicana Emotional Health and Healing, research grounded in decolonial & chicana feminist theory. Her passion for mental health is wide spanning threaded through research and advocacy, as she created a bill idea to inspire more mental health student peer resources in high schools in California, founded in the lack of resources she saw in her predominantly Latino immigrant community. She’s now completing a public policy fellowship as apart of the Capital Fellows Program as an Executive Fellow in the state of California. With plans to go to law school after, she hopes to stay connected and grounded in advocating for the immigrant community.
