Job: Asst Prof Latina/Latino Stu, U Illinois

The Latina/Latino Studies Program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign invites applications for a full-time tenure track appointment at the Assistant Professor level to begin August 16, 2011. Searching for a candidate with an exemplary record of research in Mexican American or Chicana/o history. Specialization in Latina/o Midwest history or Comparative Latina/o History preferred, but all areas of Latina/o History will be considered.

This is a 100% appointment in Latina/Latino Studies with the possibility of an affiliation and appointment in the Department of History. A Ph.D. is required at time of appointment. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
