The Gender and Women’s Studies Program and the English Department at Pomona College seek a specialist in American literature for a joint-appointed one-year\u00c2\u00a0 replacement position. Teaching load is 3\/2 and includes two courses in GWS of which at least one will be advanced feminist\u00c2\u00a0 theory, two courses cross-listed to English and GWS, and one cross-listed or targeted course of candidate’s choice.\u00c2\u00a0 Interdisciplinary\u00c2\u00a0 approaches are welcome.\u00c2\u00a0 We are particularly interested in applicants\u00c2\u00a0 with expertise in one or more of the following areas:\u00c2\u00a0 transnational\u00c2\u00a0 feminist theory, American literature in a transnational framework,\u00c2\u00a0 Asian-American\/Asian Diasporas, multi-ethnic American literature,\u00c2\u00a0 gay\/lesbian\/queer\/ transgender\u00c2\u00a0 studies.<\/p>\n
