We seek a candidate who specializes in Latino\/a literature and Latino\/a Studies. This faculty position will have its tenure line in English, while undergraduate and graduate teaching responsibilities will be split with the Latino Studies Program.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The IU Bloomington campus has an excellent tradition of collaborative and interdisciplinary work. Applicants are expected to have a strong interdisciplinary research agenda, a commitment to excellence in teaching, and a readiness to contribute to a dynamic community in ethnic studies. Preference will be given to candidates who will have their Ph.D. in hand by the date of appointment. Applicants should send a letter of application, dissertation or book abstract, curriculum vitae, and three letters of recommendation by October 24. Applications will be acknowledged.
