The Political Science Department invites applications for an Assistant
\nProfessor (tenure track) specializing in Racial\/Ethnic Politics.
\nPreference will be given to candidates in American Politics (urban
\npolitics, legislative politics, the presidency, state and local, public
\npolicy, elections and campaigns, public opinion and others), however,
\ncandidates in other subfields are encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n
Qualifications include an earned doctorate in political science and
\ndemonstrated potential for excellence in scholarship and teaching.<\/p>\n
All applicants must send a letter of application, curriculum vitae,
\ngraduate school transcripts, sample written work, and three letters of
\nrecommendation. To receive full consideration applications must be
\nreceived by October 31, 2011.<\/p>\n
