Located at<br \/>\nWellesley College, one of the nation\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s leading women\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s colleges, WCW<br \/>\nbenefits from its relationship with a College that shares a commitment<br \/>\nto research, education and the empowerment of women.<\/p>\n<p>This is an exciting opportunity to lead a talented and dedicated<br \/>\nresearch\/program staff and administrative team and engage the WCW<br \/>\ncommunity in shaping future directions and priorities. A successful<br \/>\nExecutive Director will ensure that WCW continues to push the<br \/>\nboundaries of understanding and have significant impact in the public<br \/>\nsphere. She\/he will heighten the Centers\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 visibility, attract and<br \/>\nretain top-notch researchers, and ensure that resources are in place<br \/>\nto sustain and grow the work.<\/p>\n<p>The position calls for a creative, deft, consultative leader with<br \/>\nexcellent strategic and communication skills. Distinguished<br \/>\nscholarship and a terminal degree in a relevant discipline are<br \/>\nrequired, as is experience in leadership roles within an organization.<br \/>\nExperience developing and carrying out a research agenda and leading<br \/>\nand motivating scholars and researchers would be excellent preparation<br \/>\nfor the role.
