Les escribo para informarles que acaba de ser publicado el libro: “Divagaciones bajo la Luna\/Musing under the Moon”: Voces e Im\u00c3\u00a1genes de Lesbianas Dominicanas\/Voices and Images of Dominican Lesbians. Este libro contiene escritos en espa\u00c3\u00b1ol-dominicano y en ingl\u00c3\u00a9s-dominicanish de 24 lesbianas dominicanas, residentes en la RD y en la di\u00c3\u00a1spora en los EE.UU (NY, SF), Argentina, M\u00c3\u00a9xico y Colombia. Las autoras pertenecen a distintas generaciones y responden a una variedad de experiencias \u00c3\u00a9tnico-raciales, geogr\u00c3\u00a1ficas, ideol\u00c3\u00b3gicas, filos\u00c3\u00b3ficas y espirituales. Divagaciones incluye memorias, l\u00c3\u00adrica, poes\u00c3\u00ada, narrativa, ensayos e ilustraciones y su dise\u00c3\u00b1o en un peque\u00c3\u00b1o formato (6×6, 184 pp.) facilita la lectura y traslado.<\/p>\n

Se trata de un proyecto comunitario cultural-literario, sin fines de lucro, dirigido a informar y educar. \nI would like to inform you about the publication of the book “Divagaciones bajo la Luna\/Musing under the Moon: Voces e Im\u00c3\u00a1genes de Lesbianas Dominicanas: Voices and Images of Dominican Lesbians”. This small sized (6″ x 6″, 184 pp.) bilingual- book (Spanish-Dominicano & English-Dominicanish) compiles the writings of 24 lesbians from the Dominican Republic and the Diaspora in the United States, Mexico, Colombia, and Argentina. The authors are lesbians with diverse generational, ethnic-racial, ideological, philosophical, spiritual, and geographic experiences. This book includes memories, song lyrics, poems, narrative, and essays with ten illustrations.<\/p>\n

It forms part of a cultural-literary non-for-profit project developed in the last four years and which publication has been possible thanks to the financial support of ASTRAEA Lesbian Foundation for Justice, GALDE, Las Buenas Amigas, and individuals.<\/p>\n
