Calif) this weekend"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>May 16-19 conference <\/strong><span style=\"font-style: italic\"><strong>Feminicide<\/strong> = Sanctioned Murder: Race, Gender and Violence in Global Context<\/span>  will examine the murders and disappearances of women in Mexico, Guatemala and Canada that are occurring on an epidemic scale, and interrogate closely the gender,<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" align=\"right\" alt=\"Feminicide\" id=\"image114\" style=\"width: 325px; height: 214px\" title=\"Feminicide\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.malcs.org\/archive-2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2007\/05\/feminicide.jpg?ssl=1\" \/> class, sexual and ethnoracial components of this violence against women.
